6-Week Class

This textile painting class invites artists to think differently by working on patterned or textured surfaces rather than a blank canvas. Learn how to embrace negative space and use existing designs to inform composition and color choices. Through guided exploration, students will experiment with layering, balance, and intentional mark-making. The class encourages creative problem-solving and fresh perspectives while transforming textiles into expressive, one-of-a-kind works of art.
